About our internship program:

PETE’s internship program is limited to students who have trained with us, either in our Institute for Contemporary Performance program or in one of our workshops. We do not accept unsolicited applications from people who have not trained with us.

Our internship program is designed to give professional experience to emerging artists by making them partners in the production of PETE’s work. Our internship program is project-based. This internship is unpaid, but we are able to offer our interns free admission to PETE trainings, classes, and shows.

Past interns with PETE have worked in development (fundraising), design (costume, lighting, set), stage management and production, marketing, community outreach, and directing.

To apply, please submit a cover letter (with reference to your previous training with PETE), resume, 2 references, and the internship application.
